Teen.com interviewed Taylor and you can catch a snippet of it below. Click on the source link to read the rest.
We just got off the phone with Taylor Lautner like, eight seconds ago, and our hearts are still pounding (Team Jacob!) and our cheeks are still embarrassingly red. Ugh, the things we do for you guys. It was hard work chatting with Tay about his new flick Abduction, why “ladies like dudes on a motorcycle” and Beliebers vs. Twihards (Yes, we went there.), but someone’s gotta do it, right?!
Teen.com: In the movie’s opening scene, you’re riding on the hood of a moving car! Are you spontaneous like that in real life, too?
I’m definitely, definitely very spontaneous. Definitely like, you know, pushing the edge way more than I should. It’s fair to say I’m a little bit of an adrenaline junkie. So when I found out about that stunt, that was definitely very very top of my list of stunts that I wanted to do in this movie.Teen.com: Your character Nathan finds out he’s not who he thinks he is via the internet. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever read about yourself online?
There were death rumors about me. There’s been a few, but there was one that was all over the place and I got phone calls and e-mails from friends and family making sure everything was okay. The funny thing about that one is that it was the craziest, most ridiculous story of how I died. It was like, I was out at some party and these exotic dancers at the party stole me and I don’t even know what they did to me, but it was the most ridiculous story and that’s by far the craziest thing I’ve read about myself.

WISN 12 News interviewed Taylor and you can watch the interview here.
The 18-year-old actor, and world’s hottest werewolf, talks being shirtless, screaming fans, and fighting for love

He began his Twilight journey with a small role in the first film. But now for some, 18-year-old Taylor eclipses Rob Pattinson in the heart-throb stakes. While his two co-stars speak their mind, Lautner, with his big white-teethed smile, always says the ‘right thing’. Today, his bulky body is hidden by blue jeans and a black tee. He settles down for a catch-up, all embarrassed by his ‘hottie’ status…
Were you expecting all this fan hysteria when you first signed up?
It’s funny, but I hadn’t even heard of Twilight before I did it. And it is getting bigger and bigger. When I signed up for the role I found out the following behind us, it was so much bigger than I expected, and it is definitely different to anything I have and ever will experience in the future, I’m sure.
Have you got used to being so famous?
You actually never do because it’s just not normal to walk out on stage and have thousands of people screaming at you.
How do you avoid attention?
You have to be smart about where and when you decide to go places. Walking down Rodeo Drive in LA is probably not a good idea. I find certain hangouts where I know I can have fun, enjoy it and it’s also a safe place to be.
Do your mates take the p*ss?
Everybody teases me about the shirtless thing and my little jean shorts. It’s all good, though.
What have you been spending your money on?
It is tough to go shopping when you are busy. You don’t want to purchase something extravagant, because you are just going to leave it behind. One thing my parents taught me is to save my money because you never know what is going to happen. Tomorrow you may lose everything! My parents have been a big help. I make sure to have them on set to visit because it does get lonely, filming for three months, so I like bringing home to wherever I am. My friends visit quite often. I usually have someone there. I am never there by myself for too long.
It must be more difficult to meet new people now.
To meet new people is not, but to trust new people; you definitely have to be more aware and careful. You just have to take things slow and get to know them well. The Twilight cast have become great friends though. I’m definitely not looking forward to the day this series finishes, but we will keep lifelong relationships. We’re all in Vancouver filming and we have dinner at night and we hang out and go to the gym, that sort of stuff.
You’re one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. How does that feel?
Really? [laughs] I wouldn’t consider myself that. Twilight’s been an incredible platform… It’s an amazing place to be

Taylor appeared on David Letterman last night promoting Eclipse and I’ve added videos to the video archive. You can watch them below. I’ll have caps up later on tonight.
Once “Eclipse” hits theaters at midnight, there will only be one book left in “The Twilight Saga” to mine for the big screen. But thanks to Summit Entertainment’s decision to split “Breaking Dawn” into two films, fans can look forward to two more installments of their beloved franchise.
It’s a decision that was universally embraced not just by fans of the series, but by several of the films’ stars as well — like Taylor Lautner, for instance.
“I definitely think it was the right thing to do, for the movie and for the book,” Lautner told MTV News of the “Breaking Dawn” split. “It’s hard enough to condense 500 pages into a script, but to condense 800 and everything that’s going on in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ it would have been impossible.”
Lautner will spend his summer shooting the lead role in the action/thriller “Abduction,” but he returns to the role of hunky werewolf Jacob Black when the cameras roll on “Breaking Dawn” in the fall. Already a veteran of the “Twilight” franchise, Lautner confessed that there are elements of “Breaking Dawn” that have him a bit on edge.
“It’s the part I’m most looking forward to and the part I’m most nervous about: Renesmee, the baby,” he said, referring to the vampire baby spawned by Edward and Bella. Upon Renesmee’s birth, Jacob finds himself inexplicably drawn to the baby, effectively ending his feud with Edward over Bella’s heart. “That should be very interesting to film. But I’m looking forward to it! I’ve got the direction of Bill Condon, so I’ll be fine.”
Speaking of Condon, Lautner said he’s already met the recently appointed “Breaking Dawn” director. “I met him briefly, very quickly, but not about ‘Breaking Dawn.’ He seems like a very nice guy,” the actor said. “Obviously, he’s ridiculously talented, so I’m excited that I’m getting to work with him twice.”
As the shoot date on “Breaking Dawn” draws ever nearer, there are fewer and fewer questions about the film left to answer. One question that lingers, however, is whether it will be released in 3-D.
“Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world,” he explained. “I could see it going both ways. As long as we have the story line down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we’ll be fine no matter what we do.”
Hey everyone! Taylor was on Regis and Kelly today (or should I say Mark and Kelly!) looking adorable as always and I’ve added video and screencaptures to the site thanks to Brianne.
