Taylor has a soft side.

Taylor wants his fans to know he has a softer side, despite adding 20 lbs to his frame for his role as Jacob Black. He’s a huge fan of romantic movies. Who knew? He’d love to star in both action and romantic films and at the rate he’s going, he might just get his chance.

Taylor also admits “The Notebook” is his favorite romantic film and he’s not ashamed to admit it either. He stars in “Valentine’s Day” next year and had this to say about working on the film:

“I was so glad I got to do Valentine’s Day before I went back and filmed Eclipse. Working with [director] Garry Marshall — that’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing. It was a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see it when it comes out in February.”

Valentine’s Day comes out February of 2010.
